Which survey do I need?
The age and condition of your property determine which inspection is right for you. A Level 2 Home Survey—also called a HomeBuyer Survey—is ideal for standard properties in good condition and provides an overview of defects and maintenance. A Level 3 Building Survey suits older, extended or significantly altered homes and offers a more detailed analysis, including advice on remedial works and future maintenance.
What's the difference between a Level 2 and a Level 3 Survey?
Put simply, it is the information you will receive about the remedy for any problems found during the inspection. A Level 2 Survey will offer guidance on repairs and maintenance, whereas a Level 3 Survey will provide detailed advice on the remedy options for each specific issue.
